First Teachers Training for SEL Lab at iAmMotherly

As part of SDG 4.7, iAmMotherly is attempting to implement social emotional learning (SEL) in Bangladeshi schools through the SEL LAB program.

We are pleased to announce that we had our first teacher training for SEL Lab at the iAmMotherly campus. Respected vice principal, counselors, academic coordinators, and class teachers were invited to the training session from Sir John Wilson School, Canadian Maple International School, and DPS STS School Dhaka.

The training session started with a warm official welcome and a round of introductions. Our respected principal, iAmMotherly Sadia Mahjabeen, introduced the concept of social-emotional learning and gave a descriptive idea of why it is necessary to learn about SEL to build a positive learning community. We are always working to support children's overall brain development and mental well-being.

The training session ended with an open discussion and Q&A, and all the schools were handed the SEL curriculum. Β

We appreciate the schools working with us to improve the lives of all of our kids. We are incredibly grateful to have them here.
